Overview
AVP, Payment Processing Technical Lead, Synchrony Bank, Stamford, CT.
Support complex merchant sales settlement, remittance processing systems and funding. Develop functional solutions to business requirements, prepare systems requirements and design documents in accordance with prescribed policies, standards, and procedures. Gather information about program objectives, functions, features, and input/output requirements to design application systems. Interface with other systems, internal/external checks, controls, and outputs. Perform design, coding, and unit testing activities for complex applications.
Execute test cases to ensure error free execution in the production environment. Resolve critical production issues during implementation and support activities. Perform production support activities involving assignment of issues/issue analysis and resolution within the specified SLAs. Research and evaluate software/hardware to assist in programming or to use as program platforms. Ensure continuous improvement efforts to enhance performance and functionality. Consult with clients/client managers to prototype, refine, test and debug applications.
Schedule
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m.
- 5:30 p.m.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, and four (4) years of related work experience.
Must have four (4) years of experience with/in:
- Implementing and supporting highly visible systems involving merchant sales settlements, monetary processing;
- Utilizing systems analysis and design techniques, testing, debugging, documentation standards, file design, storage, and system interfaces;
- Credit Card Payment Reconciliation, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Settlement and Reconciliation and EDI Invoice Reconciliation.
- Sales and returns transaction processing related systems.
