Software Engineer | Investment Management

We are partnered with a long-standing Investment Management firm in Stamford, CT to help bring on their next Software Engineer. This is a hands‑on full‑stack role with meaningful ownership of core internal systems.

• Build and maintain enterprise web applications used across the firm
• Develop scalable .NET 8+ Web APIs and Angular front ends
• Create reports, dashboards, and automated data exports
• Develop scheduled jobs and workflow automation
• Work directly with business users to refine requirements
• Document systems and contribute to future‑state architecture
• Support production applications and improve performance
• Help shape engineering standards and development practices

• Strong experience with C#, .NET 8+, .NET Core Web API, and Angular
• Solid SQL skills, including query tuning and schema design
• Experience with Entity Framework and/or Dapper
• Background building secure, scalable enterprise applications
• Experience with SOA and real‑time frameworks (e.g., Signal
  
  R)
• Familiarity with reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI, etc.)

This is a hybrid position (3 days onsite in Stamford) with a total compensation expectation in the $180k-250k range.
