Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, C# / Unity Developer, Backend Developer
We are partnered with a long-standing Investment Management firm in Stamford, CT to help bring on their next Software Engineer. This is a hands‑on full‑stack role with meaningful ownership of core internal systems.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain enterprise web applications used across the firm
- Develop scalable .NET 8+ Web APIs and Angular front ends
- Create reports, dashboards, and automated data exports
- Develop scheduled jobs and workflow automation
- Work directly with business users to refine requirements
- Document systems and contribute to future‑state architecture
- Support production applications and improve performance
- Help shape engineering standards and development practices
- Strong experience with C#, .NET 8+, .NET Core Web API, and Angular
- Solid SQL skills, including query tuning and schema design
- Experience with Entity Framework and/or Dapper
- Background building secure, scalable enterprise applications
- Experience with SOA and real‑time frameworks (e.g., Signal
R) - Familiarity with reporting tools (SSRS, Power BI, etc.)
This is a hybrid position (3 days onsite in Stamford) with a total compensation expectation in the $180k-250k range.
