Salesforce Developer

About the Role

Our client, a leading media and entertainment organization, is seeking a highly motivated junior Salesforce Developer to join our team. In this role, you will participate in technical design, development, and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions to support overall application performance and stability. You will contribute to a suite of critical applications powering major global events, including Olympic programming, working within a collaborative engineering team responsible for building and maintaining high-impact systems across the business.

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
• Customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, workflows, process builder, validation rules, Flows, and other declarative features.
• Support and enhance applications within a large-scale enterprise environment, including event registration functionality.
• Work on Salesforce-driven components across a .NET and Angular-based ecosystem.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers within the team to support high-quality deployment.
• Partner closely with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with technical leads, Dev Ops, and offshore teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce configuration, customization, and integration.
• Keep up to date with Salesforce best practices, new features, and technologies.
• Document technical solutions, processes, and procedures.

• 2–3 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
• Experience in independent development of features
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Knowledge of Salesforce platform features, capabilities, and data modeling
• Knowledge of Salesforce security model principles, governor limits, and performance optimization techniques
• Proven ability to design and implement workflows, triggers, and batch processes
• Hands-on experience in Apex, SOQL, and SOSL
• Experience and knowledge of Lightning Web Components and Aura Components
• Working knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Experience with Salesforce development tools such as Salesforce DX, Visual Studio Code, Salesforce CLI
• Familiarity with .NET (C#) and/or frontend frameworks such as Angular is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong written/verbal communication
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-ownership culture

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce APIs, web services, and integration patterns
• Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with third-party Salesforce Dev Ops tools and continuous integration
• Experience with CRM Analytics or other analytics platforms integrated with Salesforce
• Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies
• Experience working in large, multifaceted, and matrixed organizations
• Experience with in the media and entertainment industry
• Experience working with distributed teams (onsite + offshore)
