Pega Software Engineer

Overview

Our Fortune 500 client is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team. As a Software Engineer, you will be part of the Technology / Software Development Department supporting Backend Engineering and Customer Decisioning teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, collaboration abilities, and attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: Stamford, CT (On-site 5 days)

• Design, develop, and implement scalable backend software solutions

• Build and optimize applications using Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH)

• Write clean, efficient code using Python, SQL, and Object‑Oriented principles

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technical solutions and delivery

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance optimization

• 2+ years of experience with Pega, Python, and SQL

• 2–3 years of experience with Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH)

• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and OOP concepts

• Experience with backend development and scalable system design

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred)
