Oil Delivery Dispatcher

Job Description

As an Oil Dispatcher, you will be the one our customers rely on to get service when they need it! You will assist with assigning and communicating routes to drivers, follow up on driver and customer delivery questions, and more. As a oil dispatcher, you will be reporting to dispatchers, drivers, technicians, managers and more. You will use your communication and active listening skills to devise the most efficient solutions.

Specific duties in this role will include:

• Communicating with other Dispatchers, Drivers, Service Technicians, Managers, and other departments
• Process and maintain delivery reports
• Contact customers by phone to notify them of deliver
• Follow up on driver and customer delivery questions

As an Oil Dispatcher, you must be pleasant, professional and possess the ability to function equally well in both a team environment and independently. You must also be highly detail-oriented and focused with a flexible and adaptable nature. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills as well as the ability to interact effectively with both customer and co-workers.

Specific qualifications in this role will include:

• Superior Problem Solving skills
• Excellence in Customer Service, and solid Interpersonal Skills
• Candidates must also be comfortable with the MS Office Suite, MS Outlook, and Web navigation
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Ability to read and understand Hagstrom Maps
• Prior dispatch experience is a plus!
