Total Safe Ltd, a BAFE-registered and growing Fire and Safety Company based in Essex, covering the South of England and London. We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team, working from our offices in Corringham, Essex.
THE ROLEYou will be responsible for designing, installing, testing and maintaining electrical systems including fire alarms, emergency lighting and safety equipment. You ll work across a variety of client sites, ensuring all systems meet current regulations and safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Installing, testing and maintaining fire alarm systems
- Servicing and installing emergency lighting systems
- Carrying out PAT testing and electrical safety checks
- Working with AOVs (Automatic Opening Vents) and refuge alarm systems
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
- Completing accurate documentation and compliance certificates
- Liaising professionally with clients and site contacts
- Maintaining tools, equipment and company vehicle
- Qualified Electrician with minimum 2 years experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Fire Alarm Units qualification
- Emergency Lighting qualification
- PAT Testing qualification
- AOV and Refuge Alarm knowledge
- Knowledge of UK electrical and safety standards
- Skilled and competent electrician with strong technical knowledge
- Professional and presentable when working on client sites
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communicator with a customer-focused approach
- £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience
- Access to a Company vehicle
