Full-time, Permanent NEOS Engineering is recruiting on behalf of a busy and well-established plant maintenance company based near Reading. They are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter to join their team, working on-site with clients across the region. As a Mobile Heavy Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of heavy plant machinery at customer sites.

This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs on heavy plant machinery at customer sites Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and safely Work in line with manufacturer guidelines and company procedures Maintain accurate records of work carried out and report any issues to management Ensure all work meets high standards of quality, safety, and reliability Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to coordinate work Promote a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement What We're Looking For Proven experience as a heavy plant fitter, ideally with mobile fieldwork experience Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical knowledge NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plant Maintenance, Engineering, or a related discipline, or willingness to work towards this qualification Own tools suitable for the role Ability to work independently, managing time and priorities effectively Reliable, flexible, and committed to delivering excellent service Strong communication skills and professional attitude Why Join?
