Requirements

1 year of experience + Steel-toe boots

Sanitation Worker Duties
  • Collect and dispose of residential, commercial, and industrial waste.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins into garbage trucks or dumpsters.
  • Operate sanitation vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Clean and sanitize designated areas such as streets, alleys, public restrooms, or facilities.
  • Sort recyclable materials and follow proper waste segregation practices.
  • Adhere to local sanitation regulations and company safety policies.
  • Report hazardous or illegal waste, damaged containers, or route issues.
  • Maintain and clean sanitation equipment and tools.
  • Perform routine vehicle checks and minor maintenance as needed.
  • Assist in emergency clean‑up efforts when required (e.g., storm debris, spills).
  • Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with supervisors and co‑workers.
