Position OverviewWe are seeking a motivated, highly experienced CNC Machinist to step into a Setter/Operator/Leading Hand role. This is a hands on leadership position ideal for someone who can lead by example, support junior team members, and maintain high standards on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and operate CNC lathes and mills (Okuma machines)
- Edit and troubleshoot programs on Okuma controls (P200 and newer)
- Lead and support a team of machinists and operators
- Ensure parts meet quality and surface finish requirements
- Optimize machining processes for efficiency and consistency
- Train and mentor less experienced staff
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Extensive experience with Okuma lathes and mills
- Strong proficiency with Okuma P200 (and newer) controls
- Proven ability to set up complex jobs independently
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a machining environment
- Strong communication skills and team oriented mindset
- Solid understanding of GD&T and quality standards

Pay: $30.00 - $44.00 per hour
