Current Urgent Needs- Monday-Friday 7am to 3pm — Anaheim
- Thursday and Friday 3pm to 11pm — Stanton
- Pay rate: $30-34/HR (depending on specific case)

Qualifications- Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered CA LVN license
- Current CPR certification (with hands-on component)
- TB skin test – 2 step (current within last 12 months)
- One year prior hands-on nursing experience
- Must have reliable transportation
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
- Continuing Education as required by state

Position OverviewThe Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) is responsible for providing and documenting skilled nursing care, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, in accordance with the developed care plan and physicians orders for each individual patient while adhering to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries at all times.
Essential Job Functions- Deliver and coordinate quality patient care in compliance with physician orders
- Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs; report changes to the supervisor and/or physician as appropriate
- Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses and coordination of care in a timely manner
- Participate in, implement and update the nursing care plan
- Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment to achieve expected outcomes
- Recognize changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention and implement care to prevent or reduce risk
- Maintain accountability by complying with Aveanna policies, state and federal regulations, accrediting bodies, and the Nurse Practice Act
- Provide care utilizing infection control measures according to OSHA standards
- Educate the patient and family regarding the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies
- Maintain knowledge of competencies through continuing education and skill evaluations
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
- South Carolina – One year of pediatrics experience
- California – One year of experience required working under current nursing license
- Louisiana – One year of experience required working as a licensed nurse
- Continuing Education as required by state
- Six months of recent experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting
- Home health experience
