Position Summary

We’re looking for a hunter—not a farmer. This role is built for someone who thrives on opening doors, building quick rapport, and closing deals fast. You’ll focus on outbound prospecting, uncovering opportunities, and bringing in our technical experts to help seal the deal. You are not expected to be the product expert—we’ve got a deep bench of those. Your job is to find the opportunities, qualify the needs, and drive it to a close with urgency.

Responsibilities

Prospecting & Pipeline Growth

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, job site visits, social outreach, and networking
  • Generate leads and set up technical demos with internal specialists
  • Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities with short‑to‑mid sales cycles
  • Leverage CRM to track outreach, engagement, and conversion

Quick Rapport & Relationship‑Building

  • Engage with foremen, superintendents, estimators, and owners to quickly build trust
  • Listen to understand key pain points, then position relevant Dirt Prep solutions
  • Act as the front‑line face of the brand—personable, sharp, and responsive

Sales Execution & Closing

  • Coordinate closely with in‑house tech experts to deliver product demos and solution design
  • Drive deals forward with a sense of urgency—close and move on to the next
  • Own the follow‑up process through final proposal, agreement, and kickoff
  • Hit or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals
Requirements – What You Bring
  • Proven track record in outbound/hunter‑style B2B sales
  • Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience; construction industry background preferred
  • Strong closer with consultative sales skills and fast execution
  • Self‑motivated, accountable, and thrives on activity‑based selling
  • Tech‑literate and CRM‑savvy
  • Valid driver's license; FAA Part 107 certification is a plus
  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Able to travel daily within the territory and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable on active construction sites (PPE required)
