Overnight Retail Cashier

Store 240, 75 N. Star Rd., Star, Idaho, United States

Overnight Cashier position with a quiet pace and a strong team, delivering excellent customer service during late-night hours. You’ll process transactions, keep the store clean and organized, and help create a welcoming environment for every guest.

• Pay: $15.50 per hour with $1.00 shift differential
• Overnight shift: 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Overnight shift differential eligibility requires a minimum of 4 hours between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service
• Apply discounts and promotions while following all company policies and laws related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, etc.)
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly
• Assist with additional store duties as needed

• Flexible availability for a 24/7 operation (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude
• Reliability, integrity, and a history of doing the right thing
• Team player with willingness to help wherever needed
• Prior retail or food service cashiering experience is a plus
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to change
• Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products (alcohol and tobacco)

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk and listen
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
• Work safely in conditions including heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes/odors from gasoline and cleaning chemicals
