Fiscal Operations Business Manager , II, III​/Senior or Business Manager , II, III, or Senior

Position Function:

Provides college-level leadership for fiscal operations and financial management. Directs and assists academic department heads and accounting staff regarding budgeting and accounting policies and procedures. Works closely with the Dean and senior leadership on strategic, organizational, and long-range financial planning.

Salary Grade 15 - 18 Depending on Classification & Rank

Minimum Qualifications:

Fiscal Operations Business Manager:

• Level I
  - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or management plus seven years’ experience in financial management and/or accounting.
• Level II
  - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or management plus ten years’ experience in financial management and/or accounting. For promotions, must meet minimum qualifications and experience must include at least three years at the preceding level or the equivalent.
• Level III
  - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or management plus 13 years’ experience in financial management and/or accounting. For promotions, must meet minimum qualification and experience must include at least three years at the preceding level or the equivalent.
• Senior
  - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or management plus 16 years’ experience in financial management and/or accounting. Experience must include at least three years at the preceding level or the equivalent.

Business Manager:

• Level I
  - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or management*. No experience required.
