Position Function:
The position is for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track instructor to teach online and/or face-to-face methods courses in math, science, and social studies in the elementary education teacher preparation program.
Salary Grade: UC
For salary grade UC, these positions are "Unclassified" and salary ranges are determined by the hiring department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Teach four undergraduate classes each semester in the Department of Teacher Education and Leadership.
* Advise elementary education majors.
* Participate in departmental activities as assigned.
* Demonstrate a high commitment to quality teaching.
* Work effectively with students and colleagues.
* Serve on departmental committees.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Master's degree in education with an emphasis in elementary education.
* Three years of teaching experience in grades K-6
* Technology skills required for online instruction.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of program requirements for educators.
* Teaching experience in higher education.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work with a diverse group of individuals.
