Program Manager

Mississippi State University is hiring a Program Manager to plan and implement the FFA program for middle and high schools across Mississippi. The role involves coordinating teams, working directly with schools, teachers, and students, managing conferences and events, and extensive travel within the state to support FFA initiatives.

• Manage online conference registrations and coordinate statewide FFA programs and events.
• Develop partnerships with agriculture businesses, industry, teachers, and students.
• Plan and facilitate multiple leadership workshops, competitive events, and conferences throughout the year.
• Create promotional materials and guides for FFA chapters and maintain advisory councils and events teams.
• Coordinate financial management of the FFA student organization bank account with state education officials.
• Requires a bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in secondary or post-secondary education or career and technical education program development.
• Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree and/or five years’ experience in education administration, training, curriculum, or project management.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, project management, budgeting, presentation, and grant‑writing skills required.
• Extensive travel with some overnight stays within Mississippi and occasional out‑of‑state visits.
• Experience with online learning management systems and knowledge of education trends, instructional technologies, and 21st‑century skills are advantageous.
