Student Recruiting Coordinator

Mississippi State University is hiring a Student Recruiting Coordinator. The role involves assisting the College of Education with recruitment, retention, advising, and orientation events, coordinating with faculty and staff to execute recruiting plans and facilitate orientation activities including Academic Insight.

• Assist in developing and implementing recruitment plans for the College of Education.
• Coordinate recruitment events and participate in travel for these events.
• Organize and manage orientation programs such as Academic Insight.
• Develop and maintain databases for prospective students, suspended students, and graduates using Banner and other tools.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff on advising and recruitment material management.
• Engage with communications staff to support social media and event planning.
• Promote the College of Education Ambassadors program alongside leadership.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2 to 4 years of relevant experience;
  Masterfers degree and experience in K-12 teaching or college advising preferred.
• Strong presentation, communication, and database skills required.
• Normal office environment with some travel and physical activities such as walking and handling objects under 20 lbs.
