Audiovisual Systems Analyst

Mississippi State University is hiring an Audiovisual Systems Analyst. This role involves designing, programming, and supporting audiovisual systems and control components in educational and conference spaces, managing enterprise-level projects, and supporting digital signage integration within the university environment.

• Design and program audiovisual systems for classrooms and conference rooms using enterprise components.
• Support and maintain installed A/V components and control systems, including Crestron-based control systems.
• Coordinate and manage enterprise‑scale audiovisual projects and assist with digital signage system support and integration.
• Provide technical support to ITS units and the wider MSU community.
• Evaluate, test, and recommend new audiovisual hardware and software.
• Required qualifications:
  
  Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field plus three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferred skills include experience with Crestron systems, Windows enterprise support, Ethernet devices, digital signage, complex audio installations, conferencing systems, and network protocol analysis.
• Programming experience with PHP, C#, Power Shell, or HTML is valued.
• The role requires occasional physical effort such as visiting construction sites and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Position reports to the Manager of Instructional Media Technology and has no supervisory responsibilities.
