Mississippi State University is hiring an Enterprise Software Developer III. The role involves developing, coordinating, and managing enterprise application software systems and data to provide critical information services to the university community. The developer designs custom programming, supports ERP system integration, troubleshoots issues, documents procedures, leads technical projects, and mentors junior team members.
Highlights- Design, develop, and maintain custom programming supporting internal processes and ERP data exchange (Banner system).
- Provide technical assistance and resolve issues related to Banner and enterprise applications.
- Create and maintain documentation for programs, procedures, and installations.
- Administer and support Ellucian products and third-party software integrations.
- Lead technical projects with planning and status reporting to managers.
- Train end users and technical staff on enterprise applications and mentor junior team members.
- Required skills include full system lifecycle development, experience with APIs and web services integration, and customer service expertise.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Ellucian Banner, higher education enterprise systems, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL programming.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 4 years of relevant experience.
- Salary Grade 16 under Staff Compensation Structure; competitive salary ranges apply.
