Position Function:
Network Administrator is responsible for planning, implementing, designing, analyzing, maintaining, and provide technical support for a large, complex data communications network or group of networks. Conduct research and evaluation of network technology and recommend, purchase, and install networking equipment.
Salary Grade:13

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Education:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, or another technical field. - Experience:
One (1) year of experience similar to duties described.
- Previous experience managing and maintaining complex systems.
- Knowledge current technological developments/trends in area of expertise.
- Ability to prioritize and schedule work assignments.
- Ability to design and coordinate the installation of high-speed data networks.
- Ability to determine computer problems and to coordinate hardware and/or software solutions.
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot computer network hardware and peripheral equipment.
- Ability to develop and write systems and applications documentation and guides for users.
- Ability to provide a range of systems training and/or support activities for users.
- Ability to develop systems solutions for operational problems.
- Knowledge of a range of computer networking systems and languages.
- Well-developed Interpersonal communication skills.
- Occasional lifting required.
- May include frequent heavy travel and/or unanticipated irregular work hours
- unusual pressure on a daily basis due to accountability for success for major projects or areas of operation.
