The Overnight Member Services Representative is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all Planet Fitness members during overnight hours. This position supports daily club operations by providing exceptional customer service, completing facility cleaning and maintenance tasks, monitoring equipment and club conditions, and ensuring all Planet Fitness policies and procedures are followed.

The ideal candidate is dependable, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and member satisfaction.

Member Services and Customer Experience

• Greet every member with a friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude.
• Assist members with questions regarding memberships, club policies, amenities, and services.
• Provide a positive member experience by maintaining a helpful and approachable presence.
• Address member concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
• Promote Planet Fitness membership options, amenities, and services as appropriate.

Club Cleanliness and Maintenance

• Complete regular club walkthroughs and cleaning assignments throughout the shift.
• Clean and sanitize fitness equipment, machines, benches, high-touch surfaces, and other designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in the locker rooms, restrooms, showers, fitness areas, and front desk.
• Restock paper products, soap, sanitizing supplies, and other necessary club supplies.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, facility issues, and maintenance concerns.
• Complete assigned cleaning checklists and shift documentation accurately.

Overnight Club Operations

• Maintain awareness of club activity and ensure members follow established club policies.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify cleanliness, safety, and maintenance concerns.
• Keep the front desk organized, professional, and free from unnecessary distractions.
• Follow all opening, closing, overnight security, and emergency procedures applicable to the shift.
• Communicate important member concerns, equipment issues, supply shortages, and incomplete tasks to management and the incoming team.
• Ensure all assigned responsibilities are completed before the end of the shift.

Professionalism and Accountability

• Arrive on time and be prepared to begin work at the scheduled start time.
• Follow the employee dress code, cellphone policy, and all other company policies.
• Remain productive and engaged throughout the entire shift.
• Use downtime productively by completing cleaning, organization, and maintenance assignments.
• Maintain a professional appearance and respectful attitude toward members and coworkers.

This position operates primarily during overnight hours in a fitness club environment. Responsibilities require frequent movement throughout the facility, interaction with members, and completion of routine cleaning and operational tasks. The employee must be comfortable working independently and maintaining consistent performance during periods of low club activity.
