Senior Program Manager

Mississippi State University is hiring a Senior Program Manager for the Advanced Composites Institute. The role involves managing complex, multi-organizational programs focused on workforce training and education initiatives, overseeing fiscal and operational program management, and developing and delivering training curricula aligned with industry needs while maintaining partnerships with external stakeholders.

• Manages and executes large, externally funded workforce training and education programs.
• Develops and maintains relationships with industry, community, and education partners.
• Leads development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs and curricula.
• Responsible for fiscal management including budgeting, spending approval, and compliance monitoring.
• Coordinates program communication and reporting including social media and press releases.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree and 6 years of directly related experience;
  Master's degree and workforce development or advanced manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, and program management skills essential.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) required.
• Frequent travel required; ability to handle multiple programs and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• May supervise staff as needed and must track participation, outcomes, and performance metrics for program evaluation.
