Starkville, MS| $140,000 salary or more depending on experience
Schedule:
Full-Time | 100% Onsite
About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with an established manufacturing company that is hiring a Quality Director to lead the company’s quality program, quality team, compliance efforts, and process improvement initiatives.
This is a strong fit for a hands-on quality leader who has managed quality systems in a manufacturing environment and knows how to improve processes, lead audits, resolve customer concerns, and build accountability across production, operations, suppliers, and leadership.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the company’s quality management system and overall quality program.
- Manage quality assurance, quality control, audits, documentation, and compliance.
- Review and resolve customer quality concerns, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
- Track and report quality KPIs, trends, and performance metrics
. - Identify root causes and drive process improvements across the operation.
- Work closely with production, engineering, operations, suppliers, and leadership.
- Manage supplier quality approvals and external provider performance.
- Lead, train, and develop the quality team.
- Support company-wide initiatives tied to efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
What They’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
- Quality management experience in a manufacturing environment
. - Previous supervisory or management experience.
- Experience leading or supporting ISO quality systems
. - AS9100 or NADCAP experience is a plus
, but not required. - Strong background with audits, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and process improvement.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, procedures, and specifications.
- Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
