Schedule:

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with an established manufacturing company that is hiring a Quality Director to lead the company’s quality program, quality team, compliance efforts, and process improvement initiatives.

This is a strong fit for a hands-on quality leader who has managed quality systems in a manufacturing environment and knows how to improve processes, lead audits, resolve customer concerns, and build accountability across production, operations, suppliers, and leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead the company’s quality management system and overall quality program.
  • Manage quality assurance, quality control, audits, documentation, and compliance.
  • Review and resolve customer quality concerns, nonconformances, and corrective actions.
  • Track and report quality KPIs, trends, and performance metrics.
  • Identify root causes and drive process improvements across the operation.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, operations, suppliers, and leadership.
  • Manage supplier quality approvals and external provider performance.
  • Lead, train, and develop the quality team.
  • Support company-wide initiatives tied to efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
What They’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Experience leading or supporting ISO quality systems.
  • AS9100 or NADCAP experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong background with audits, corrective actions, root cause analysis, and process improvement.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, procedures, and specifications.
  • Strong organization, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Why You’ll Love It There
  • High-visibility leadership role with real ownership over quality.
  • Opportunity to improve systems, processes, and team performance.
  • Work directly with leadership, operations, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong fit for someone who wants to lead quality instead of just maintain it.
