About The Role:
As a Senior Appraisal Analyst at CBRE, you will play a crucial role in preparing comprehensive market value appraisals for real estate assets under the guidance of a senior appraiser or manager. This position involves training and mentoring, enabling you to grow your expertise in the field. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of detailed appraisal reports, conducting fieldwork, and engaging with market participants to gather necessary data.
What You Will Do:Conduct detailed analysis and research on appraisal assignments.
Draft and finalize written market value reports with support from a senior appraiser.
Examine and analyze basic income-producing properties and develop analyses based on market comparisons.
Research market conditions and assess current transactions to compare them against the subject properties.
Perform comparative analysis based on sales of similar properties and market trends.
Analyze historical revenue and expense data and project a stabilized operating statement.
Receive training to utilize Argus (cash flow software) and external databases for compiling data for appraisal reports.
Perform any additional duties as assigned.
This role does not have formal supervisory responsibilities.
A Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from an accredited university, along with one to two years of relevant experience and/or training.
A State Certified Appraisal Trainee license is required.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities. Strong organizational and analytical skills, capable of delivering timely and courteous service.
A foundational understanding of financial real estate terms and principles, along with basic valuation approaches for real estate assets.
The capability to understand and follow general instructions and solve standard situational problems. Intermediate analytical and quantitative skills are necessary.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent writing skills are a plus.
Awareness of procedures and company policies to achieve designated results and timelines. Responsible for managing your own project timelines.
