Project Engineer, Estimator

We are seeking an Office Engineer to support project execution from preconstruction through closeout in State College, PA.

Applicants must be located within a reasonable commuting distance. Hybrid work arrangements may be considered subject to approval and project performance.

• Support execution of projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Manage assigned trades across all facets of preconstruction, including quantity take‑offs, bid package preparation, and budget preparation.
• Oversee assigned trades throughout construction, including project status, scheduling, cost control, change management, and maintaining relationships with clients, designers, and consultants.
• Assist with the creation and ongoing maintenance of project schedules.
• Support processing of submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
• Coordinate project documentation, digital records, and project logistics.
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and the wider project team.

• 4‑year degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience within construction, ideally in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of project coordination, subcontractor management, and construction document control.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with project teams.
• Proactive problem solver with strong critical thinking and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management platforms.

• Role will involve a combination of office and onsite responsibilities.
• Ability to drive to site, walk rough terrain, and climb stairs/ladders as needed.
• Comfortable working onsite and outdoors in varying weather conditions with moderate to loud noise exposure.
