Safety Manager

The Butz Family of Companies seeks a Safety Manager at Alexander Building Construction located in State College, Pennsylvania. This individual will lead and support the company's safety program across multiple projects throughout Central, Pennsylvania. The Safety Manager will work closely with project teams, field leadership, and subcontractors to promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Promote and support a proactive safety culture throughout the organization.
• Conduct project site inspections and safety audits.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs.
• Assist project teams with site-specific safety plans and job hazard analyses.
• Review subcontractor safety compliance and documentation.
• Maintain safety records and required regulatory reporting.
• Support continuous improvement of company safety programs and procedures.

Typical qualifications include, bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Five (5) or more years of construction safety experience. OSHA certifications and/or CHST, ASP, or CSP credentials preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to regional project sites.
