Responsibilities include the following: answer in-person questions at the dispatch window, telephone, switchboard, and electronic inquiries or requests for services; issue temporary parking permits, issue replacement OWL identification cards, monitor access control, alarm, and closed-circuit television monitoring equipment; and dispatch Campus Safety officers in the field via radio transmissions. Dispatchers also enter calls for service into the Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system and utilize the College's student and employee database.
