School Crossing Guards – Permanent and Substitutes
Daily wage is $35.00
The State College Borough is seeking individuals to serve as school crossing guards at various locations within the State College Borough. Normal assignments require individuals to be available for approximately 45 minutes in the mornings and 45 minutes in the afternoons during school days, to assist with the crossing of State College Area School District students. Crossing guards are assigned to designated intersections at the direction of State College Police.
Individuals are expected to work during all weather conditions according to school schedules.
Vests and equipment will be provided. Individuals will be required to complete various mandatory clearances, include:
Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Police Criminal History Check and FBI Fingerprint Criminal History prior to assignment. All fees will be reimbursed by the Borough.
