Job DescriptionThe State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for an anticipated High School Assistant Field Hockey Coaching position.
The Assistant Coach is responsible for providing leadership and guidance to student-athletes, supporting the overall vision for the program, and instructing them in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training. The role includes mentoring student-athletes to become driven, responsible learners and citizens.
Assistant Coaches report to and work closely with the program Head Coach and the Athletic Directors to determine program goals and direction.
Both the PA Dept. of Education and the PIAA require specific safety and coaching training. (See Athletics website for details.)
