Position Overview

The Global Teach Ag Network is seeking a Program Specialist to develop, deliver, manage and evaluate its portfolio of educator professional development programs from conception to evaluation. This role provides program coordination and technical assistance to a digital community of practice focused on food security and international agriculture, develops and maintains relationships with external partners, and supervises undergraduate interns to create marketing materials and prepare project reports.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, deliver, manage and evaluate the Global Teach Ag Network portfolio of educator professional development programs focused on food security, international agriculture, and global learning in agriculture.
  • Provide program coordination and technical assistance to a digital community of practice comprised of external stakeholders.
  • Maintain best practices for cultivating a digital community, community moderation, and program implementation skills in the Mighty Networks digital platform.
  • Supervise undergraduate interns in creating marketing materials and using digital software tools such as Adobe Express.
  • Mentor interns in best practices for creating materials and communicating key points to stakeholder audiences.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, organizations, industry and agencies.
  • Assist with program evaluation and creation of program evaluation executive summary statements.
Minimum Education , Experience, & Certifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • 1+ year(s) of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • No required certifications.
Background Checks & Additional Requirements

Employment requires successful completion of background checks per University policies. This position requires operation of a motor vehicle; a valid driver’s license and a motor vehicle records check are required.

Salary & Benefits

Salary range: $51,000.00 – $74,000.00. Full‑time benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans, paid time off (holidays, vacation, sick time), and a 75% tuition discount for employees, spouses, and children.

Flex Work Arrangement

This position offers a flexible work arrangement combining remote and on‑campus work. Questions related to flexible work should be directed to the hiring manager during the interview process.
