Instructor for Palmer Summer Art Program (Youth Program Leader)
Program OverviewThe Palmer Summer Art Program will run from July 20 to July 24, 2026, providing a dynamic arts experience for youth participants. The instructor will oversee the program’s daily operations and ensure the safety and well‑being of all minors.
Responsibilities- Provide 24‑hour supervision and ensure the safety of all program participants.
- Plan, develop, and deliver instructional content and art‑based lessons.
- Maintain and enforce youth compliance policies and emergency response procedures.
- Communicate regularly with the Program Director and Program Manager regarding program status and participant needs.
- Collect, store, and verify medication and oversee participant health information.
- Respond promptly to any behavioral or health issues, using sound judgement and following notification protocols.
- Valid background checks and clearances:
Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check, Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check. - Experience in youth supervision and emergency response is preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
