Job Description and Position Requirements
Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics – Sport Camps will be hiring part-time Health Aids. Successful candidates will act as a First Responder and provide First Aid to youth participating in sport‑specific camps held at Penn State University throughout the year. Responsibilities include treating minor injuries, referring injuries to Health Tech for further care, and, if needed, providing care in the housing facilities for overnight campers.
Other duties may be assigned based upon the camp and coverage need.
Applicants must be certified in CPR, First Aid, and Epi Pen usage. In addition to required clearances, successful candidates must complete annual compliance and mandated reporter trainings.

Background Checks/ClearancesThis position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
