Job Overview
Transportation Services is hiring a part-time Bike Den Administrative Assistant who reports to the Sustainable Transportation Program Assistant.
Responsibilities- Greet and guide Bike Den visitors through check‑in and check‑out processes, bike registration, and general bike repair questions.
- Support educational workshops and refer visitors to applicable local and online bike resources.
- Provide excellent customer service during frequent interactions with faculty, staff, students, and community members.
- High school diploma or higher.
- One year of related experience or study related to biking.
- Confidence around bikes and competent working knowledge of MS Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
- Availability for up to 24 hours per week, preferably weekday evenings, daytime on Fridays and Sundays; year‑round availability preferred.
- Ability to work independently with general direction and instruction.
Hourly pay: $16.00. Work hours up to 24 hours per week; schedule to be adjusted prior to hiring depending on availability.
Additional RequirementsEmployment requires successful completion of a background check in accordance with University policies.
