Part-Time Teaching Assistant - SCM

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Department of Supply Chain and Information Systems at Penn State University Park invites applications for multiple part‑time teaching assistant positions to start in Fall 2026. The successful candidates will assist Dr. Johanna Amaya for up to 10 hours per week during the academic semester.

• Answering student questions
• Hosting office hours
• Grading assignments
• Searching the business press for teaching materials
• Additional duties as assigned by supervisor

• Currently enrolled Penn State student
• Successful completion of SCM 404 at Penn State or a similar course at a comparable institution

Starting rate for this position is $16.00 per hour.
