A highly regarded industrial manufacturing organization with a global footprint and a strong reputation for long-term stability, employee development, and operational excellence is seeking an Engineering & Maintenance Manager to support plant operations within a highly equipment-driven production environment.
The company is looking for a mechanically or electrically trained engineer with experience in precision metal manufacturing, who has led maintenance and engineering teams, owned CAPEX and plant projects, understands tube/extrusion processes, and is comfortable being fully on-site in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and partner with senior engineering and maintenance leadership in the planning and execution of engineering and maintenance initiatives
Coordinate and support engineering projects
, including timelines, documentation, cost tracking, and reportingAssist in the development, management, and execution of capital projects (CAPEX) within approved budgets
Contribute to improved equipment reliability and uptime through project support, troubleshooting, and close collaboration with maintenance and operations
Maintain and improve technical documentation
, including drawings, spare parts lists, and equipment recordsSupport creation and upkeep of project documentation systems
, cost tracking, ROI analysis, and performance reportingParticipate in equipment start-ups, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, efficiency, and cost optimization
Ensure equipment, installations, and modifications meet applicable safety and regulatory requirements
Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or similar), or equivalent practical experience
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment
Exposure to capital projects
, equipment installations, or process improvementsWorking knowledge of technical documentation
, drawings, and equipment recordsComfortable working in a hands-on, on-site manufacturing environment
Experience in equipment-intensive manufacturing environments, such as:
- Industrial or heavy manufacturing
- Metal-based or mechanically intensive production
- Continuous or semi-continuous manufacturing processes
- Industrial, infrastructure, or construction-adjacent products
