Project Engineer, Engineering Design & Technologists

Overview

The Butz Family of Companies seeks a Project Engineer at Alexander Building Construction Co. located in State College, Pennsylvania. This individual will provide full-time on-site support for a given project. We thrive on delivering large scale projects for clients that embrace our innovative mindset and are looking to add talent to our growing team.

• Check all shop drawings for accuracy
• Maintain and update the schedule
• Maintain and update material expediting systems
• Maintain a formal Request for Information (RFI) process
• Review and process changes
• Quality Control and Punchlist Management
• Other duties as assigned

Typically requires 1-5 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of technical training and related experience. Familiarity with PC-based software in order to learn project scheduling and cost control is required. Knowledge of BIM and Virtual Design experience is a plus.
