Electro-Mechanical Engineer; Level 2

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test electro‑mechanical battery systems
• Convert test results and analysis into action
• Coordinate battery prototype construction and validation
• Support and coordinate collaborations with partner firms to design new battery systems

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or materials science
• 3‑5+ years of experience
• Lithium‑ion cell testing experience
• Strong understanding of lithium‑ion cell fundamentals
• Experience working with lithium‑ion batteries
• Troubleshooting mindset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate testing results
• Ability to self‑identify and fill knowledge gaps
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residence is a plus

The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000 – $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
