We're looking for a Group Manager | Site Design to join our team in State College, PA

In this role, you'll lead a team of engineers and designers while overseeing land development projects from planning through completion. You'll play a key role in delivering quality work, mentoring team members, managing client relationships, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

A few key responsibilities...
- Lead & mentor team members while fostering employee engagement & professional growth
- Oversee subdivision, land development, & site design projects ensuring quality, schedule, and budget goals are met
- Build & maintain strong client relationships supporting long-term partnerships
- Collaborate with Operations & Service AVPs on staffing, resource planning, & overall operational effectiveness
- Manage project financials, workload prioritization, & cross-functional coordination
- Provide technical oversight
A few key requirements...
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Pennsylvania Professional Engineer (P.E.) license and/or Landscape Architect license
- 7+ years of experience in land development engineering, including subdivision design, site layout, grading, utility design, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, permitting, and engineering reports
Project management experience and prior team leadership or supervisory experience is also required. Strong knowledge of municipal review and approval processes, ordinance application, and AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential. Experience with project budgeting, proposal development, client management, public presentations, Microsoft Office, and project management systems such as Deltek Vantagepoint is preferred.
We ask that you are flexible to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices as necessary, which may include overnight stays. You will need a valid US Driver’s License and have Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
