We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering and Lighting Design Intern to join our team for Summer 2027. As an intern, you will work under the guidance of experienced engineers and architects on various projects. You will gain hands‑on experience by assisting in the design process of electrical building systems, from schematics through construction administration, on a wide range of building types.

• Mentorship from industry professionals.
• One-on-One meeting with your mentor in the spring to set goals and plan internship.
• Hands‑on experience with real-world projects.
• Development of technical skills by performing engaging work, such as:
  • Assisting in the development of project objectives, goals, and documentation policies.
  • Developing electrical designs from concept through completion of construction.
  • Preparing engineering design calculations and layouts.
  • Preparing detailed engineering reports and narratives.
  • Coordinating electrical design requirements with architecture, structure and other disciplines.
• Opportunities to develop professional networks.
• Potential for future full-time employment.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Architectural Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Completed coursework in electrical systems, circuit analysis, and CAD software.
• Basic knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC).
• Experience or interest in BIM (e.g. Autodesk Revit MEP) workflow.
