Qualifications

  • Problem‑solving abilities and adaptability in fast‑paced environments
  • Experience in arts or film‑related events is a plus

Responsibilities

Role Description

This full-time, on‑site Event Manager role is based in State College, PA in conjunction with Penn State University. The Event Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of the Centre Film Festival, ensuring a seamless and impactful experience for attendees. Key responsibilities include managing event logistics, coordinating with vendors and partners, organizing schedules, supervising event staff, and overseeing budgets. This role will also involve collaborating with filmmakers, artists, and the community to deliver a successful festival experience.

Additional Information

Reduced FTE:
This position will be filled at 75% FTE, with work performed from April to December, and January to March being months off.

This position is funded for 9 months; continuation past 9 months will be based on university need, performance, and/or availability of funding.
