Accounting Intern

Position Overview

Accu Weather is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Finance team. This internship offers hands‑on experience in financial reporting and day‑to‑day accounting operations. The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, and eager to learn how finance drives decision‑making in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reporting, and reconciliations
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
• Help reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Assist with audits and compliance documentation
• Help automate and improve financial reporting processes and dashboards
• Collaborate with team members on special finance projects
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of accounting activities

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with financial statements and basic accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

• Previous internship or coursework in accounting/finance

• Practical, real‑world accounting and finance experience
• Exposure to financial systems and reporting processes
• Mentorship from experienced finance professionals
• Opportunity to develop technical and professional skills
• A collaborative and innovative work environment

Summer Internship (10–12 weeks), with potential for extension or full‑time consideration.
