Dedicated Client Services Associate About the Role

Are you highly organized, detail‑oriented, and energized by solving problems while building meaningful professional relationships? Vicus Capital is seeking a Dedicated Client Services Associate (DCSA) to join our team in State College.

As a DCSA, you will serve as a trusted operational partner to financial advisors across the country, functioning as a seamless extension of their practice. Through our Dedicated Client Services Program, you will be assigned a portfolio of advisors and take ownership of their day‑to‑day operational needs, including account administration, paperwork processing, client data collection, and workflow management.

In this role, your work will have a direct impact on advisor success and client satisfaction. By managing critical operational responsibilities with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism, you will enable advisors to spend more time strengthening client relationships and growing their businesses. If you enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment, delivering exceptional service, and becoming an indispensable member of a team, this could be the opportunity for you.

Location:

State College, PA (in‑office) What You’ll Be Doing
  • Manage advisors’ calendars and client communication pipelines, including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting materials, coordinating follow‑ups, managing email correspondence, and communicating directly with clients as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized digital client records by entering, updating, and managing sensitive information within the CRM system.
  • Process new account paperwork from start to finish, including completing client intake forms, confirming account setup, and supporting the ongoing maintenance of existing accounts.
  • Act as a subject‑matter expert on custodian processes, ensuring all documentation is accurately prepared, reviewed, and delivered to clients for timely completion and signature.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with our nationwide network of financial advisors by serving as a responsive, dependable, and highly integrated extension of their team.
  • Partner with the operations team to improve processes, optimize workflows, and continuously enhance the advisor and client experience.
  • Support operational excellence by identifying opportunities for greater efficiency, consistency, and service quality across all client‑facing and internal processes.
What You Bring
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Clear, confident, and professional communication skills—both written and verbal—whether you are collaborating with an advisor or speaking with a client.
  • A self‑starter attitude with a strong sense of accountability. You can shift gears quickly to manage multiple advisor workflows and competing deadlines.
  • Comfortable navigating various technology platforms. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is required.
  • Familiarity with Redtail (or other CRMs) and prior experience in finance, banking, or wealth management is highly helpful, but we are willing to train the right person who has the aptitude and drive to learn paperwork processing.
  • A collaborative mindset, a resilient problem‑solving attitude, and a genuine desire to help others succeed.
What We Offer
  • This is a full‑time in‑office salaried position; 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with an opportunity to flex your hours after 1 year.
  • Competitive compensation based on experience.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Group life and short‑term disability insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with a safe‑harbor employer contribution.
  • A supportive, people‑first culture where your work is valued and your growth is encouraged.

Sound like the right fit? If you’re ready to bring your skills, energy, and commitment to a company that truly values what you do, we’d love to hear from you.
