Field Clinical Representative

As a Field Clinical Representative, you’ll collaborate with healthcare professionals to support spinal cord stimulation (SCS) procedures, provide expert technical support, and ensure the best outcomes for patients. At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Relocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide expert clinical support through programming, troubleshooting, and intraoperative guidance for spinal cord stimulation procedures.
  • Deliver patient follow-up care, ensuring optimal therapy performance and long-term success.
  • Partner with the sales team and healthcare professionals to drive therapy adoption and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.
  • Educate customers on the proper clinical usage of company products using various platforms (e.g., presentations, hands-on demos, digital tools).
  • Lead customer-facing education initiatives to communicate clinical benefits, best practices, and product advancements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, hospital staff, and ambulatory surgery center personnel.
  • Participate in surgical cases, providing hands-on support in hospital and ASC settings.
  • Monitor patient progress post-procedure and collaborate with care teams to optimize outcomes.
  • Identify potential patients and referral sources, supporting education and awareness around chronic pain therapies.
  • Participate in community awareness initiatives to increase patient engagement and therapy adoption.
  • Respond to office inquiries promptly, maintaining open and reliable communication with healthcare partners.
  • Complete administrative tasks in a timely and compliant manner according to all regulatory standards.
  • Travel frequently within your assigned region, with occasional overnight stays based on business needs. Flexibility with territory size is required.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 0–2 years  experience in a sales and/or clinical role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Medical device sales and/or clinical education experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Biology, Kinesiology, or other science-related field.
  • Experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant, RN, Chiropractor Assistant, Radiologic Tech, Surgical Tech, or in a related clinical field.

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be $65,000 to $85,000
