Retail Pharmacy Manager in State College, PA

A full-time Pharmacy Manager position is available at a retail location in Mill Hall, PA. This direct hire role requires strong leadership skills to manage pharmacy operations, ensure compliance, and deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail setting. The Pharmacy Manager will work closely with store operations and pharmacy staff to drive business growth and maintain high standards of pharmacy practice.

• Collaborate with store operations to engage associates and communicate department and company strategies.
• Oversee prescription accuracy by conducting Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance, complying with state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Manage the pharmacy to build profitability by growing prescription volume through clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Control inventory by tracking sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock as needed to meet customer demand.
• Align performance objectives with key department metrics to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
• Provide superior customer service, resolving medical-related inquiries and healthcare counseling.
• Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff; lead training, coaching, and discipline.
• Maintain pharmacy security and ensure a clean, orderly environment.
• Handle customer complaints and questions to build trust and loyalty.
• Liaise with physicians and use reference materials to address prescription issues.
• Prioritize and complete pharmacy tasks timely, including cycle counts, inventory management, and will-calls.

• Bachelor of Pharmacy or Pharm
  
  D degree.
• Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License.
• Current Pennsylvania Immunization License.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Variable day and afternoon shifts.

This direct hire opportunity offers competitive compensation with a salary range from $59.50 to $71.50 per hour or higher depending on experience.
