The Arc of Centre County is currently recruiting part-time Employment Specialists for their Nittany Employment Services Department. Availability on Mondays & Fridays is preferred.
Are you passionate about connecting people to meaningful work? As an Employment Specialist
, you'll support individuals with disabilities in finding and thriving in competitive community employment. This is a hands‑on, community‑based role where you'll truly see the impact of your work every day.
- Build relationships with local employers and identify job opportunities
- Assist with resumes, applications, interviews, and job placement
- Provide on‑site job coaching and skills training
- Promote independence and long‑term job success
- High School Diploma required
- 3+ months experience supporting individuals with disabilities (preferred)
- Sales, marketing, or business experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed)
- Strong communication, organization, and professionalism
