Research Intern

Responsibilities

• Support research staff and faculty.
• Conduct data analysis.
• Support test and evaluation of software and models.
• Assist with exploratory data analysis.
• Develop and implement software methods in support of data analytics.
• Visualize, interpret, and report data findings in dynamic data reports.

• Computing or computing‑adjacent technologies background.
• Data science, cybersecurity, programming, etc.
• A willingness to work with hardware and develop high‑level software applications.
• Existing government security clearance.

• Existing Secret or Top Secret clearance.
• Development of software within DoD development environment.
• Development or evaluation of AI/ML models.

Employment will require successful completion of a background check, a pre‑employment drug screen, and the ability to obtain a government security clearance. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen.

Working location: on‑site in State College, Pennsylvania.
