The Media Center Operations Lead provides leadership and daily oversight of the Bellisario Media Center, with a focus on media production. The successful candidate will have advanced experience with Inception, Overdrive, Caprica, Expression, Cam Bots, Smart Shell, Ion XE, Wheatstone audio products, and OMT iMedia
Touch automation.
Serving as the primary point of contact for the Media Center, this position is responsible for maintaining facilities and equipment, supporting media production operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality media services that advance the College's academic, administrative, and community engagement goals.
Responsibilities- Leadership and Administration
- Serve as the primary internal contact for Bellisario Media Center operations.
- Lead and/or directly supervise Lab Coordinators.
- Develop and implement policies that maximize shared use of Media Center spaces, technology, and equipment across all majors and programs.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff and serve as the College's liaison to external partners, including Media Tech, Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT), Strategic Communications, WPSU, and The Daily Collegian.
- Recommend resource investments and operational improvements to support Media Center priorities.
- Prepare reports, assessments, and strategic plans for College leadership.
- Scheduling and Space Management
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and student organizations to coordinate and support classes, activities, and events held in the Media Center.
- Facilities and Technology
- Partner with Facilities and IT teams to address facility and technology needs.
- Manage and maintain broadcast systems and related hardware and software infrastructure.
- Provide frontline technical support for broadcast technology, troubleshoot issues, and minimize disruptions to Media Center operations and scheduled activities.
Bachelor's Degree. Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. No required certifications.

Salary & BenefitsSalary range: $54,060.00 - $78,444.00.
