Role Overview
The Network Systems Specialist will work within the Operation Center to monitor and troubleshoot network problems and performance, maintain reliability, and prevent issues. The role involves keeping customers informed of service changes, outages, or discontinuation, and maintaining documentation of departmental processes and procedures.
What You Will DoThe primary responsibilities include monitoring enterprise IT services and infrastructure, analyzing system events and alerts, utilizing monitoring and troubleshooting tools, and coordinating incident response. The Specialist will also create and manage change requests, coordinate vendor support, and process IT service requests.
Why It Might Be a FitThe ideal candidate will have experience working in teams to support IT infrastructure, knowledge of IT infrastructure monitoring systems, and enterprise networks. Familiarity with IT Service Management, Service Now, and Major Incident Response processes is a plus.
Requirements- Associate Degree
- No prior relevant work experience required; previous relevant work experience accepted in lieu of education
