As a Manufacturing & Process Engineering Support Technician, you will provide crucial technical assistance to the engineering team, ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist process engineers in the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes.

* Conduct tests, collect data, and perform preliminary analysis on process parameters and product performance.

* Operate and maintain a variety of laboratory and production equipment, including calibration and troubleshooting.

* Prepare detailed documentation, including test reports, process specifications, and work instructions.

* Collaborate with production personnel to identify and resolve process-related issues, ensuring quality and efficiency.

* Support the implementation of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.

* Order and manage inventory of supplies and materials required for process engineering activities.

* Assist in the training of production operators on new processes or equipment.

* Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action planning for process deviations.

Job Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years of experience or Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field.

* Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting skills.

* Proficiency in using common hand tools, measuring instruments, and basic lab equipment.

* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and process flow diagrams.

* Familiarity with data collection and analysis software (e.g., Microsoft Excel).

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

* 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering support role, preferably in an FDA/ISO 13485 regulated environment.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document procedures and findings.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

* Familiarity with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
