Senior Infrastructure Technician
Location: State College, PA – Onsite at 302 Science Park Rd, BLDG 5A
Security Clearance: Current TS/SCI required. U.S. citizenship required. Clearance must be active and adjudicated less than three years prior to start date.
Senior Infrastructure Technician will design, implement, and maintain software infrastructure for satellite ground systems, focusing on automation, deployment, and monitoring.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware designers, and software engineers to deliver reliable, high‑performance solutions.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Work across multiple engineering disciplines in an agile Dev Sec Ops environment.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and system administration guides.
- Define, develop, and prototype software scripts, virtualization, and cloud environments.
- Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies.
- Participate in continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements and optimizations.
- High School diploma with four (4) years of experience.
- Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government‑issued security clearance prior to start date.
- Experience with software infrastructure in IT or software engineering.
- Willingness and desire to perform infrastructure work.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- Experience with VMware and AWS.
- Experience with Puppet, Ansible, and Git.
- Experience with Python and Bash.
- Experience with Linux administration.
- Good understanding of networking concepts.
- Software development experience in Java with unit and integration testing.
- Knowledge of satellite ground systems, space operations, or related domains.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices in a defense or aerospace setting.

Salary Range: $43,400 – $82,600 USD.
